Our Story

A Childhood of Hands and Heart
Some of my earliest childhood memories are of sitting outside on warm afternoons, turning flower petals into necklaces and pretending they had secret powers. I’d weave threads around my fingers, sew little dresses for my dolls, and mold clay into shapes that had no names. By 12, I was drawn to every craft I could find – crochet, painting, clay, jewelry-making. I wasn’t trying to be an artist, just lost in the joy of creating. Looking back, I see that art was my way of connecting to the world around me and the world within me.

The Spark That Lit GoldenBee
In 2020, at 22 years old, I found myself far from home, living alone in Minnesota. The snow-covered days were long and quiet, but in that stillness, I returned to what had always comforted me – art. One afternoon, as I shaped a small clay sculpture, I found myself slowing down – paying attention to every curve, every line, every imperfect edge. For the first time, I truly noticed the patience and presence that sculpture demands. It reminded me of the sacred pieces I grew up seeing in Nepal – how much soul lived in their details, how they carried stories without ever needing words. In that moment, GoldenBee was born, from a deep desire to honor the art that made me feel at home, and to share with the world the depth, beauty, and craftsmanship of sculptures that speak across generations.

The Soul of GoldenBee
GoldenBee is more than a sculpture brand – it’s a love letter to heritage, craftsmanship, and quiet beauty. Each piece we offer is with intention and purpose, carrying not just form but feeling. As I deepened my connection with Nepali artisans, I saw how overlooked their talent was despite generations of mastery. Through this brand, I want to give them the visibility and reverence they deserve. Our sculptures are not just decorative – they hold stories, energy, and legacy. They are heirloom pieces that make a space feel sacred and alive. With GoldenBee, I hope to create a space where artistry meets purpose – where every sculpture becomes a thread between you, the artisan, and something much greater than either of us.
Thank you for welcoming our creations into your home, and into your life.
With love and gratitude,
The GoldenBee Family
